The visitor to Instow can take part in a variety of waterborne activities such as sailing canoeing and windsurfing.

 The Tarka Trail passes through the village and offers a perfect opportunity to explore, by foot or by bike, the banks of the Rivers Taw and Torridge in the footsteps of Henry Williamson’s Otter.

 

 

Instow's listed Signal Box is open to the public on Sundays.

         and of course 
         there is also the beach.

During the Summer the North Devon Cricket Club has an extensive fixture list.
